The Zinzino HbA1c Test is a dried blood spot self-test designed to provide a personal assessment of your long-term blood sugar levels. It gives a measurement of your average blood sugar over the past 2-3 months by analyzing the amount of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in your blood.

WHAT’S INSIDE / INGREDIENTS The test measures the amount of HbA1c hemoglobin proteins with glucose attached. The result is expressed in mmol/mol (millimoles per mole) and categorized into four ranges:

• Normal: < 34 mmol/mol
• Monitor Closely: 34 – < 38 mmol/mol
• Prediabetic: 38 – < 47 mmol/mol
• Diabetic: > 47 mmol/mol

HOW TO USE

1. Wash your hands with soap and warm water, then dry them.
2. Use the provided lancet to get a few drops of capillary blood from your fingertip.
3. Place the blood drops on the filter paper provided in the kit.
4. Allow the sample to dry for at least 10 minutes.
5. Package the dried sample and mail it to the laboratory using the provided envelope.
6. Register your anonymous test ID on the Zinzino website.
7. After about 2-6 weeks, your results will be ready to view on the website. You will also be asked to fill out a detailed questionnaire for the lifestyle assessment.
